Information on the processing of personal data at VELVET-GROUP

In connection with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming into force on May 25, 2018, VELVET-GROUP Sp. z o. o. Sp. K. has taken steps to adapt its internal processes to the requirements of the new law. We have prepared a set of information for you that will clearly familiarize you with the personal data protection policies in force at VELVET-GROUP Sp. z o. o. Sp. K.

The controller of your personal data, i.e. the entity deciding on the purposes and means of processing your personal data, is VELVET-GROUP Sp. z o. o. Sp. K. with its registered office in Bydgoszcz, ul. Wojska Polskiego 65, 85-825 Bydgoszcz. The purposes for which we process your personal data depend on our legal relationship with you.

As part of our activities, we may process your personal data, in particular for the following purposes:

– conclusion, execution and continuation of purchase/sale contracts for goods and services offered by the administrator
– fulfilling the legal obligations incumbent on the controller (in particular: issuing and storing invoices/sales documents and other accounting documents, handling complaints)
– establishing, defending and pursuing claims
– direct marketing
– creating analysis and statistics summaries (for the administrator's internal needs)
– verification of payment credibility
– broadly understood commercial cooperation, on the basis of Article 6 paragraph 1 letters a, b, c, d, e, f or Article 9 paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 letters a, b, c, d, h, i, j – of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016.

VELVET-GROUP Sp. z o. o. Sp. K. may process personal data for the purpose of fulfilling the order pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b of the GDPR. Personal data is collected from customers:

1. Providing this data is voluntary, but necessary to complete the order. Without this data, the contract will not be concluded.
2. Your personal data will be stored for an adequate period and no longer than the periods required by applicable law in specific areas of personal data processing.
3. Your data will not be subject to automated decision-making (profiling).
4. You have the right to free information regarding your personal data stored by us, as well as the right to rectify, restrict processing, delete or transfer your data.

The customer has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
At the same time, we declare that:

  • we do not use personal data for purposes other than those provided for by law,
  • we do not sell your personal data to any entities
  • We process your data only to the extent necessary and ensure its security.
